I have a 1981 Toyota Trekker 4x4 and does anyone know where I can get interior parts?
The Toyota Trekker is actually the Pre-4Runner that Toyota and Winnebago made before the 1984 4Runner was put into production. I have one complete but needs exterior and interior parts. Maybe you might know where I can get 1979 thru 1983 Toyota truck parts.
I can help you with what little parts and info are out there. I have 2 of these vehicals, and have done alot of reseach on them. As there were less than 1300 of them ever built with the Winnebago Trekker conversion, there is very little left in the way of original paperwork. The Toyota part of the truck is all regular 4 x 4 running gear, while the back end is from Winnebago. You may contact me through Yahoo if you like. I would need to know what parts you are looking to upgrade or replace to help you further.
