Ford Recall Cruise Control
As everyone knows Ford is one of the leading card manufacturers in the world. They have designed and sold so many trucks, sport-utility vehicles and cars which have been sold all over the world. When compared to other car manufacturers, most of the customers had good impression about Ford.
However in 2007 everything changed when almost 5.5 million cars were recalled by Ford. There were many cars which had already experienced problems and the engine getting fire because of this cruise control. Mexico and Europe alone had sold over 200,000 vehicles. Ford was left with no option other than to take back all the vehicles. At the same time they were also running short of the spare parts for their vehicles.
Europe and Canada have been the places where Ford gets maximum revenue. However, after this recall incident it had left a bad impression among the customers. Even though it’s an advanced world with latest technologies survey shows that the newly designed cars are weak and light when compared to old cars. There are people who are willing to pay many millions to get car of their choice. Each and every car company has to make sure their product is thoroughly checked before getting into market. They will leave dissatisfied customers if the product experiences any malfunction.
When Ford motor started experiencing issues with their cruise control in 2007, they decided to recall all vehicles which they had designed from 1994-2002, with cruise control. Ford F-150’s, Ford Expeditions, Lincoln Navigators and Ford Broncos were some of the affected models.

how do you set the timing on a ford bronco II 2.9 liter engine?
i need to know how to set the timing on a 1989 ford bronco II 2.9 liter engine i can't figure it out so if i could get some good answers that would be appreciated. don't comment me back if your going to be negative on answering thnk you.
this should be easy dude. if it's the timing chain, get to it which can be a hassle and line up the marks on the sprockets and pull them off and put it togather with the chain. for ignition timing it's not to bad either. pull the distributor (be careful not to drop the oil pump rod) then the #1 plug. turn the engine up the top on a compression stroke. you'll have to hold your thumb in the plug hole to and turn the engine by hand till it pushes. the stick something in there to feel the piston. bring it all the way up. if it goes back down turn it back. the key is having it to the top aka tdc (top dead center). put the distributor in and line it up so the #1 plug on the cap lines up with the rotor button. this may take a few tries cuz the cog on the distributor turns on the the cam when being dropped in. it may make it easier to goop the oil pump rod with something to keep it in the distributor also while doing this. this has worked for me many times. keep in mind you can't get it perfect like this so a timing light may be of some help or you can tune it by ear. start it up. if it's hard to crank and runs fast when it starts, it's timed to high so turn the distributor till it slows down. not to much though. if it's running slow and rough it's timed to low. tune it so it speeds up. you'll have to do this fine tuning while it's running. rev it a few times to see if it backfires or anything. when done. you'll likely have to do this a few times also to get it right so be patient and don't get burned on a warm engine
