Having a reputable car repair shop with an automotive mechanic you can trust is a must for all vehicle owners. It is very important that your auto service shop is capable of a full range of services from diagnostics to auto AC repair and on to transmission, engine and brakes maintenance and repair in Tampa.
Auto AC repair may sound like the simplest repair that your vehicle may need, but it is not that easy to do. Many factors can affect the workings of your auto AC. Sometimes it may seem like the problem is with the transmission but it turns out to be rooted in the engine and an engine tune up is required. When the problem is, indeed, with the transmission, you are lucky if it can be solved by mere adjustments done by your Tampa automotive mechanic. If parts need to be replaced, you will spend less if it can be done without removing the entire transmission from your vehicle. Some accessible parts can be handled by merely removing the oil pan. In such cases, however, the mechanic is not able to check for any other problems deep within the transmission and some car repair shops in Tampa therefore refuse to give warranties for the job.
Another possible issue with the vehicle’s transmission system involves leaks in one or more of the external seals or gaskets. If external leaks of the transmission fluid are found, these can be fixed through transmission resealing without the need to remove the transmission from your vehicle. Be prepared for much bigger expense.
A much worse scenario, however, is if your entire transmission is no longer functional. You have a choice of replacing it or having it rebuilt. You can choose to replace your transmission with a brand new unit which can be really expensive, or you can choose between a used transmission and a remanufactured transmission. The latter option often comes with a warranty and is a better choice.
Your car repair shop and automotive mechanic should be able to help you make cost effective choices for your vehicle’s needs. If your current car repair shop and automotive mechanic does not have a wide range of capabilities, perhaps it is time to look around for a full service auto service shop that can do everything from auto AC repair to transmission, engine and brakes maintenance and repair in Tampa.

Where is the orifice tube for a 1986 Toyota pickup's air conditioner?
I've already looked behind the glove compartment but it seems You have to got in trough the engine compartment, I'd like to know exactly where it is before I got and break somthing.
This system has no orifice tube,it has expansion valve instead,and located in the evaporator housing.HTH.
