How do you fill new motorcycle brake lines with brake fluid?
I know how to bleed brakes, but is their a good way to fill brand new brake lines? Thanks!
Harbor freight has a one man bleeder kit- basically a plastic bottle with 4 sizes tubing that fits on bleeder tip. I've used just plain plastic tubing at caliper and had end higher than master cylinder. Whatever- set tube on caliper bleed screw tip, slow squeeze master cylinder lever so brake fluid comes out and bubbles into tube or cup, release lever and fluid minus air sucks back into caliper. do this a few times keeping master cylinder reservoir cup full. When no more bubbles come out and a little fluid stays in tube, then close bleeder screw..
