Moon Steps into Taurus: Calming the Spirit (July 15, 2009)
After two intense days with planetary challenges of high emotions purging us from hidden, unconscious patterns of behavior, we are now ready to step into a more relaxed time. Maybe we find peace in nature or enjoy life’s sensual delights. I just had a bath and signed up for a message today.
The unfolding growth in the zodiac is going through opposing motions challenging the status quo and then a period of integration and refinement, like with the transformation of Pluto followed by the expansion of Sagittarius; or the contraction and consolidation of Capricorn followed by changes and rebellion with Aquarius.
After the fiery, blazing emotions of the Moon in Aries we are now allowed to relax into the practical arms of Taurus.
Taurus known as Planter and Beautifier of Life (April 21–May 20)
At this time of the year the Northern Hemisphere is free of its winter snows and it is time to attend to caring for the Earth and planting crops. The sign of Taurus is ruled by Venus and is considered a feminine earth sign.
Taurus people are very much in tune with the Earth. Due to the influence of Venus, they have a great love for beauty found in things such as art, jewelry, and the natural landscape. They are loyal, patient, and deliberate in working toward their goals, just as farmers must be in tending their crops from planting through harvest. When a Taurus person undertakes a project, it most likely will be completed! Grounded in reality and the physical world, they excel at professions such as artist, farmer, the financial sector, and politics.
The Moon: Our Mirror of Feelings
Approximately every 2 ½ days the Moon as our fastest planet in Astrology is moving into a new zodiac sign. When the Moon transitions into a new sign there is a different energetic emotional quality available. Moon signifies our way we feel and filter the events in our environments emotionally. The Moon describes our receptivity and helps us to understand our often impulsive reactions to those events in our life.
Following the Moon moving through the potential of possible reactivity will ease the surprise of it and gives us a choice to some degree.
Whenever the Moon stirs us up into fierce feelings there is something to gain even in hindsight!
The Last two Days of the Moon in Aries might have brought to light something dormant in us which is in need to be addressed! For me it played out as getting sick and having to realize the amount of overwork and stress I have been in lately.

A wonderful way besides taking a nice hot bath to relax and put things into perspective is a little meditation with a Moonstone. Is Pisces and Taurus mercury compatible....?

He is aries sun with pisces mercury.
They would be very good in a creative project as both are very sensitive to beauty and art and poetry....the like.
As friends and lovers there would be a genuine like for each other but there would be difficulties in understanding how each other thinks and each other's point of view.
Mercury in Pisces makes for a person who is rather passive and day dreamy. Its second nature for them to make decisions based off of intuition and they also tend to communicate in a non-linear fashion. Mercury in Pisces also creates a mind that tends to see flux in flow in all things. Linear thinking and declarative statements do not come naturally to this mercury.
Mercury in Taurus makes fora person who is a very straightforward, linear communicator. Taurus likes to speak in very here and now, practical, physical terms as this is how they tend to view and experience life; physically. Pisces tendency to float up in the clouds and give rather ambivalent answers to what Taurus views as a rather black and white question, can drive Taurus crazy. This may have the unfortunate affect of holding Pisces tighter and trying to force a yes or no answer. A silent mental tug o war can ensue between the two.
Taurus merc's can hold on to anything; a grudge, what they had for dinner on their last birthday, what you said about their new shoes last week and sometimes needs to just let it go.
Pisces merc's are much more flexible and can have a fight earlier in the day and put it out of their mind by noon. However they can repeat back everything you told them to buy at the store for dinner when they get off work, and they come home with out a single thing because they werent really "there" when they were having the conversation with you.
Taurus can be blunt in their speech where Pisces can be flowery. This could be good for both because Pisces learns that they need to be a tad more direct in linear in communication and Taurus learns to give more care into HOW what they mean to say is delivered.
Best case scenario: Taurus merc learns how to give Pisces merc room and learns how to write things down instead of constantly getting mad at Pisces occasional abscent minded daydreaminess.
Pisces learns that its important to "be here", be more direct, and put action behind vision (of which they have alot!)
